I’m in Redmond!
June 1st, 2007
Hi all, I just wanted to share with you some pictures, as this is the first time I come to Redmond (of many I intend).
I’ve been here for almost 3 weeks now, working with the Patterns & Practices team in Microsoft on the Web Client Software Factory version Next.
Lot of collegues from Southworks came too, most of them to work in different short projects, and already headed back to Argentina. Miguel Saez is the one who’s working on the same projects as me.
I could not have come to Microsoft and not taken a picture here
This is part of the WCSF Team at Patterns & Practices. From left to right: Prassad, Tim, Kannan, Miguel, Blaine, Chris, Michael and me. Oh! and let’s not forget about the guys on the other side of the phone (the pic was taken right after the StandUp meeting).

WCSF and SCSF now extended by the community!
May 30th, 2007
2 new open source projects were just lanched on Codeplex for all of us who want to extend both WCSF or SCSF and share it with the community: WCSFContrib and SCSFContrib.
Make sure you add bookmarks on them, as we expect a lot of contributions and extensions from the users. If you want to contribute to any of this projects, don’t hesitate, as you will be very welcomed.
Want to know more? Go and check out the contrib sites.
You can also find more information on Bil Simser’s post or Glenn Block’s post.
Cheers!
I’ve been tagged
March 19th, 2007
I have been tagged by Ezequiel Jadib, so here I am, writing 5 things people don’t know about me:
- My first computer was a Commodore 64, and was probably the reason why I’m now in this carreer. I was very little when I started copying from C64’s manual what in that time thought it was nonsense and couldn’t figure why I was getting colors and simple animations with it (10 PRINT blah… 20 GOTO blah).
- I’m graduating from College this week. I’m finally going to be a (Software?) Engineer from Universidad de Buenos Aires.
- I learned how to read when I was 4, to be able to play games in my C64.
- I started doing karate a few months ago, and I like it very much. I’m still a white belt, but will promote in a month or so.
- I’m from Bariloche, and I would really like to go back to live there sometime, or at least to a place similar to that. What I love about it is the peace and the landscapes… it’s impossible to get stressed out there.
Now I’m tagging some co-workers from Southworks:
