MSFWinBuild finally available!
May 3rd, 2006
MSFWinBuild, the tool that compiles Process Guidance for Team System is finally available for download!
This tool is the one used by Microsoft to create MSF Agile and MSF for CMMI process guidances, it generates nice HTML files from XML sources that describe the guidance content.
Go get it from the GotDotNet workspace!
Important:
- There are no releases yet, you have to download the source code (go to “Source Control” section) and build it.

Architecture Documents in MSF Agile
December 21st, 2005
While using MSF for Agile Development for a current project, I realized that something important is missing in the methodology guidance: architecture documents.
In the process guidance, I found a lot of information about architecture diagrams like Application Diagram, Logical
Datacenter Diagram, and others. But I couldn’t find information related to architecture documents which complement them, like:
I thought that writting this kind of documents would be included as an
activity within the “Create Solution Architecture” workstream, but there is not such an activity.
