CAB and SCSF: where to start?
3 CommentsI started writing some content on CABPedia. My first contribution is for newbies on Composite UI Application Block and Smart Client Software Factory
I encourage everyone who *already started* or *is starting* using this software factory to share their experiences in this page.

I started with SCSF and realized that CAB was under the hood. Not exactly a linear progression, but typical of my life.
The CAB is a rich and deep resource. It carries a learning curve. What I think served me well starting with SCSF is to see the big picture of CAB, and use its features easily. Afterwards I dug into the details and am still becoming well versed in CAB.
I believe that the SCSF + CAB technologies are best revealed to new users in a lecture format. I attended a workshop for SCSF and that was the best experience for me. After a lecture, the HOL and experimentation, plus using community resources like the forums is the way to go.
Lecture materials would help adoption, imho, materials that could be presented at MSDN events or at local .NET users groups. Perhaps an INETA evangelist could travel and demonstrate SCSF and enumerate CAB’s feature list. (Where do I apply?)

I am new to SCSF. Can any one of you please guide me from where i can get more information regarding SCSF for starters/intermediate experienced. A couple of sample projects would help me a lot. I would be grateful if you can refer me to some links or articles. I have been studying Matias outlookbar sample project but still i need some more information.
