My name is Nahuel Beni, I am an Argentine software developer, with great interest in software engineering and design.
I joined Southworks in July 2008, before that, I have worked as a Project Manger for a company which developed different kinds of services (all related to technology) for insurance companies. I was responsible for the development and implementation of the services and processes, customer relationships and team management.
I have great passion for learning, researching and developing. I believe people can learn from every adverse (or not) situation in life, gaining experience an knowledge that builds you up as a person.
I am studying to become a System Analyst in UBA (University of Buenos Aires). I like languages a lot, that is why, in addition to my Spanish and English knowledge, I am studying German.
What I like the most about technology (and computers) is the way they can be used to make every day’s work easier and more efficient. I am always trying to find a way of simplifying my work by using or developing software solutions, or making better use of my time by applying processes that help me be a more efficient person.
But my interests go beyond technology and work, I have a special interest in reading and philosophy. Moreover, I am a sportsman, I love watching and practising almost every kind of sport. Nowadays, I practice football and tennis every week, and go skiing on winter holidays.
Travelling is my latest passion, I have discovered that there is a lot to be learned about other cultures and people, not only in different countries, but also, within Argentina. This is why I try to travel every time I have the opportunity.
There is a lot more to be said, but I guess this is a good summary of myself and my interests.
